19.Event poster design process.

 Here is my process designing a digital poster for an event for my organization. One of the main themes of the event is the red carpet. I wanted to embrace the classy vibe of this event by highlighting the red carpet, so I went to Pinterest to start looking for inspo and searching up gala posters. These were the posts that inspired the most.

PRICES MAY VARY. Three of the great American novels by F. Scott Fitzgerald, the incomparable chronicler of the Jazz Age, are all together in one keepsake volume.   F. The third flyer embodied the vibe I was going for the most but I wanted to put an African twist on it as it was for the African Students Association. I got to my favorite new tool- adobe firefly and spent hours (ok maybe an hour) generating an image using prompts such as

Playing with words here and there and using the original flyer as a composition reference. 

After receiving several terrible result such as these 

I finally ended up with something I could work with 

                                               


I used photoshop to tweak some elements and finally ended up with these final pieces

And I made a video in canva to add a paparazzi effect over top for instagram story promotion

This project was super time consuming but I am really happy at the result, it is classy but hints to African elements.
