42.Libby chonicles: an Audiobook review

Funny Story 9/10:
Emily Henry, I could give you a big wet kiss. A plot that would be otherwise nonsensical, somehow had me obsesses. I listened to the audiobook In 3 days, I could't put it down. I really liked the plot and it wasn't to cheesy for a romance novel. Already added two of her other books to my waitlist

Just for the summer 8.5/10:
This book was really good. Again, i am a romance fan who usually finds romance really corny but this was  not corny at all. I love the plot. I liked the actual production of the audiobook
This Could be Us 7.5/10:
Really interesting premise, a woman's husband gets arressted for fraud by the fbi and she has to deal with the man who put her husband in jail. A tad unrealistic as I can't imagine anyworld where I would be fine with my mother dating the man that put my father in jail(even if he was guilty) yet all her 3 children were. Additionally the male main character's voice in the audiobook was very lifeless and monotone which was offputting. It was still interesting and i have added the book's predecessor in the series which i hear is a lot better so I am excited.

Yinka, Where is Your Huzband 5.5/10:
Maybe i am being harsh on the actual book because I didn't like the main character. I just though she was a loser.Like its okay to have insecurities but it was too much to the point where her insecurities lead her to judge other womens behavior and even bodies in comparison to her. It just made me cringe. I  also think they spent too much time on the downward spiral phase and not enough time showing how she healed, it was just -she went to a few therapy sessions and now she loves herself and is ready to date. I wasn't rocking with it. And maybe I just hate the entire premise of the book because it touches on a particular pick- me aspect of my culture that I am not a fan of.

I have a lot more books and definitely want to venture out to other genres such as thriller
